German SHARE Survey

The German SHARE survey is part of the SHARE research infrastructure. The project management of the German survey involves the preparation and coordination of the SHARE field work with the assigned survey agency in Germany, the monitoring of the fieldwork outcomes (response and retention rates, data quality), and the communication with SHARE central. The fourth and fifth wave of the German SHARE survey were funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the sixth and seventh wave by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
